THESE ARE SOME OF THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE
FOR SHIPPING A BOAT OR YACHT
CONTAINERIZED
The inside of the Container is only 92” wide. If your boat with the trailer/cradle exceeds 92” it will not fit. We do get special requests to load boats on it’s side since the height of the container is 102” high.
This is not the way of loading we encourage, but it would accommodate a boat with a trailer that is 8.5’ wide. We can ship containerized boats to almost any part of the world.

Ro/Ro
Anything that rolls can be shipped on a Ro/Ro vessel. Boats on cradles are placed on roll trailers that are provided by the carriers. The roll trailers are then towed on board the ship. The boats are stored inside the ship and secured to avoid any movement while in transit.
Ro/Ro destinations are limited and we do not offer door deliveries.

LO/LO
This is another option to consider when shipping over-sized boats. It is a more expensive option since the boat/yacht is loaded with a crane on board the vessel.
Shrink-wrapping is highly recommended to protect the boat from the elements during on deck transportation to the port of destination.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
- Cradle or trailer is required to ship boats overseas. Upon request we can provide customized cradles at selected locations and shrink-wrap if required.
- Drain all fuel and water tanks, disconnect batteries and tape cables prior to delivery.
- If the boat cannot be delivered by truck due to legal height limitations (varies by each state), special arrangements must be made for a water delivery.
- Shipping charges are based on the overall volume of the boat including the trailer/cradle. To provide an accurate quote we need the overall length, overall width and overall height. This includes external items such as trailer tongues, boat swim platforms and out-drives etc.
- Boats shipped to the European Union require CE Marking and Certification. The International Marine certification Institute (IMCI) provides certification services. Visit their website for more info http://imci.org
